Service Description

Macclesfield Canal and Woodland Trails Special Event No freedom passport needed to book on. Come and join us on this low level longer walk starting at the entrance to the park on High Lane, Stockport. We'll learn a little bit about some of the historic sites we encounter as we make our way round this 10.4km (6mile) route. Hoping to catch the wild garlic and bluebells in bloom as we pass through several patches of woodland along the way. 10.4km and 160m height gain The paths are a mixture of canal towpaths, filelds woodland paths and a little bit of pavement There's no need to worry about navigation, allowing you to take time to soak in the stunning views and enjoy great company. Led by an experienced Nordic Walking Instructor who is Outdoor First Aid Trained and will support you along the way.
